As a Junior in 2008-09: Played in 15 games off the bench…scored his first three-pointer as an Otter against Alaska Fairbanks on Nov. 18…dished out a season-best four assists against Cal Poly Pomona on Feb. 27.
As a Sophomore in 2007-08: Played at Gavilan College…team captain…led team in assists…second leading scorer.
As a Freshman in 2006-07: Played at Gavilan College.
High School: Co-captain during senior year... named team MVP…selected Most Improved Player junior year…All-League first team selection.
Personal: Son of Don Evans and Kathy Little...majoring in Kinesiology.
Coach Bishop on Evans: "Played a back up role last season but will be expected to compete for the starting point guard spot this year. Django’s work ethic and drive have lead to huge off season improvements in his game and I am expecting big things from him this season. Look for him to be one of our better 3-point shooters this season."
