Cevin (pronounced Kevin) Meador begins his third season as the lead assistant men’s basketball coach at Cal State Monterey Bay in 2019–20. Although CSUMB is his first full–time position, he has been a lieutenant to Otter Head Coach Isaac Williams at his last two stops.
Meador began his collegiate coaching career as the lead student manager at Boise State for three seasons. He followed Williams to Eastern Oregon, serving as an assistant while completing his undergraduate degree in La Grande.
Meador’s duties touch on all aspects of the program, including recruiting, teaching and logistics. He also plays major roles in fundraising, technology and the program’s extensive community service efforts.
Meador is the owner of two bachelor’s degrees. He earned his first degree in supply chain management from Boise State and later graduated cum laude from Eastern Oregon with a degree in business administration.
