As a Sophomore in 2009-10: Appeared in 12 games...had three points along with one rebound against Chico State (12/5)...grabbed two rebounds at Long Beach State (12/12).

As a Freshman in 2008-09: Played in six games, averaged 0.7 points and 0.8 rebounds…played a season-high 18 minutes against Academy of Art University on Nov. 24, pulling down three rebounds and finishing with two points.

High School: Led his team to the C.I.F. finals...played for the Norco Tarheels and Branch West Basketball Academy.

Personal: Son of Jose and Angelica Castro…majoring in Information Technology.

Coach Bishop on Castro: "As one of only three 3-year players in the program, Drew continues to grow as a player.  He has a clear understanding of what is expected of him and is ready for the challenge. There will be an opportunity for Drew to get minutes this season."
