- Went to high school in his native Spain.
- Also played soccer as a prep athlete.

- Is majoring in business administration at CSUMB.
- Earned his associate’s degree in business administration at MPC.
- Earned the Pete Cutino Scholarship Award for academic and athletic excellence at MPC.
- Hopes to continue his golf career after graduating from CSUMB.
