Biography
2019 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Redshirted as a true sophomore
2018 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Established herself as CSUMB’s top 100–meter runner by posting the Top 5 times in Otter history as a freshman
- Broke 14 seconds twice, including a school–record 13.79 sprint at the CCAA Championship meet (May 4)
- Also went 13.82 at the Bulldog Invitational (Apr. 28)
- Ran her 400–meter PR of 1:07.48 at the East Bay Invitational (Apr. 14)
High School
- Came to CSUMB with prep PRs of 13.34 in the 100 meters (Mar. 29, 2017) and 27.94 in the 200 meters (May 3, 2017)
- Team MVP for the Ripon High School soccer team, for which she played both sweeper and goalkeeper
- Led the Indians to a Trans Valley League title in 2016
- Also was an All–TVL volleyball player at Ripon
Personal
- Is majoring in marine science at CSUMB
- Plans to go to grad school to further her science education
- Was a National Merit Scholar with a 4.0 GPA in high school
- Has been a barrel racer since junior high school
- Parents are Nancy Burroughs and William Denhart
