MOORPARK COLLEGE
Brittney Reed joins the Otters after coming into her own as a sophomore at Moorpark College…hit .343 and led the Pirates with 34 runs scored as a sophomore in 2014…earned Moorpark’s Offensive Player of the Year Award for her efforts…had a 5–hit, 5–run game in a win over L.A Pierce College (Mar. 6, 2014)…that was one of nine multi–hit games for Reed as a sophomore…appeared in 32 games and contributed five extra–base hits as a freshman in 2013.

HIGH SCHOOL
Reed played three seasons of varsity softball for the Pioneers of Simi Valley High School.

PERSONAL
Reed is majoring in kinesiology at CSUMB…plans to attend grad school and work in the health care field…was a scholar–athlete both seasons at Moorpark…parents are Frank and Mary Reed…bothers Frankie and Jake played baseball at Cal Poly…Frankie is a prospect in the Seattle Mariners organization.
