As a Redshirt Junior in 2014: Made 12 starts in goal for CSUMB... posted a goals against average of 1.42... made 54 saves while allowing 18 goals... had a .750 save percentage... recorded three shutouts.

As a Redshirt Sophomore in 2013: Started in all 18 games between the pipes for the Otters...recorded four shutouts, ...his goals against average of 1.40 ranks him fourth in the CSUMB season records...posted a CSUMB best 11-5-2 season...his 79 saves ties him with Sam Campanelli (2010) on the season record list...stopped a career-best eight shots on two occasions, against Cal State San Bernardino (10/6) and against Cal State L.A. (9/22).  

As a Redshirt Freshman in 2012: Didn't make his first collegiate appearance until the seventh match of the season...quickly established himself as a rising star in goal, needing just nine matches to earn honorable mention All–CCAA recognition…his three shutouts were just one off the CSUMB single season record…his 37 saves ranked No. 7 on that list while his 1.62 goals against average ranks No. 9…earned his first collegiate win and shutout with a 1–0 overtime victory vs. Cal State East Bay (9/30)…made a season–high six saves in the rematch with the Pioneers (10/21).

As a Freshman in 2011: Redshirted

High School: Played a four–year soccer career at Sacramento’s El Camino High School…posted a 1.50 goals against average with a pair of shutouts as a senior in 2010…also played three games in the field, notching two assists against Inderkum (9/23) and a goal in a win over Mira Loma (10/21)…had an impressive 0.99 GAA his junior season…posted three consecutive shutouts (10/13–20) during his sophomore season…led the Eagles to the Capital Athletic League title in 2010…tossed a 1–0 shutout at league rival Rio Americano in the 2009 CIF Sac–Joaquin Section Division III title game…played his club soccer for Nor Cal Elite…also lettered one season in football as a kicker at El Camino.

Personal: Son of David and Karen Drake...majoring in kinesiology…career goal is to become an firefighter…answers to the nickname Heavy Load…was a member of the Merit Roll and the California Scholarship Federation Gold Seal Bearer in high school.
