2013 – Cal State Monterey Bay
It took Kris Gallop just three games to earn a spot in the starting lineup and he went on to become a consistent force in the post in his first Otter campaign…played in all 29 games, making 25 starts…is CSUMB’s top returner in terms of field goal percentage (56.5) and rebounding (6.2 rpg)…his 26 blocked shots in 2013 rank No. 5 on the CSUMB single–season list and were the most by an Otter since 2006…scored a season–high 14 points—one of four games in double figures—at Humboldt State (Feb. 14)…recorded his first collegiate double–double with 12 points and 11 rebounds at Cal State San Bernardino (Feb. 22)…led team in rebounding 11 times…season–high four blocks came at Cal State L.A. (Jan. 5).

Los Medanos College
Gallop averaged a double–double as a sophomore at Los Medanos College, scoring 10.2 points and a team–leading 11.5 rebounds per game in 2012…earned All–Bay Valley Conference honors for his efforts.

High School
Gallop prepped at Antioch High School where he averaged 5.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game as a senior…led the Panthers with 24 blocked shots in 2010.

Personal
Gallop is majoring in kinesiology at CSUMB…lists fishing among his leisure time activities…parents are Michele and Willie Gallop.
