2011-12 – UCSB
Kendall Gill transfers to CSUMB after spending her first two collegiate seasons at Big West Conference member UC Santa Barbara…appeared and 14 games and made one start as a sophomore in 2012…made 15 starts in 24 appearances as a freshman in 2011, hitting .237 with one home run and seven RBIs.

HIGH SCHOOL
Gill played four seasons of varsity softball at Sacramento’s Capital Christian High School where she was a four–time All–Golden Empire League selection for the Cougars…was a two–time all–state pick who hit .554 as a senior with team highs of four home runs, 43 runs and 36 RBIs…successful on all 12 stolen base attempts…posted even more impressive numbers as a junior, hitting .658 with 43 runs and 25 extra base hits (incl. four HRs)…was a perfect 11–of–11 on the basepaths as a junior…led Capital Christian to the CIF Sac–Joaquin Section Division VI title in 2010…played travel ball with the Sorcerers and Grapettes.

PERSONAL
Gill is majoring in collaborative health and human services at CSUMB…career goal is to be a collegiate softball coach…played in high school with her younger sister, Shelby, who is a freshman softball player at west region rival Academy of Art…parents are Wes and Donna Gill…father was a gymnast at Iowa State.
