2014 – Cal State Monterey Bay
Tim Darkwa got his introduction to collegiate basketball in the form of 19 appearances as a freshman…scored his first collegiate points in his fourth game, chipping in what proved to be a season high seven in just seven minutes against Cal State Dominguez Hills (Dec. 7)…pulled down a season–high seven twice, including in a season–high 20 minutes of action against Cal State Stanislaus (Feb. 22)…recorded a season–high two blocks in a win over Cal State East Bay (Dec. 21).

2013 – Cal State Monterey Bay
Tim Darkwa redshirted his first season at CSUMB.

High School
Darkwa was a double–double machine as a prep star at Bloomington Christian…averaged 17.3 points and 13.0 rebounds as a senior at Bloomington Christian, leading the Ravens to the Victory League title and the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division 5AA Tournament…the 2012 Victory League MVP was a three time all–league and two time all–county pick…BCHS defensive player of the year as a sophomore and junior and team MVP as a senior…also played football in high school.

Darkwa is majoring in kinesiology at CSUMB…career goal is to be a firefighter…full name is Timothy Darkwa–Dwamena…older brother Paul played basketball at Columbus State…parents are Eva Appenteng and Kwasi Dwamena.
