HIGH SCHOOL
Nina Villanueva should add some pop to the Otter offense after being named offensive MVP at Mt. Carmel High School in 2011…hit .410 as a senior while leading the Sundevils with 24 runs, 23 RBIs, seven doubles and five home runs…led the Sundevils to three consecutive CIF San Diego Section Division II titles (2008–10)…won the MCHS sportsmanship award as a junior in 2010…played travel ball with the San Diego Renegades.

Villanueva is majoring in nursing…enjoys wakeboarding in her spare time…parents are Joe and Ginger Villanueva.
