Jalen Headspeth will add depth to the Otter backcourt after earning three varsity letters at Oakland High School…earned All–Oakland Athletic League honors after averaging 6.7 points and 1.3 assists per game as a senior…finished strong by scoring in double figures in his final four regular season games, including a career–high 15 points at Skyline High School (Feb. 11, 2011)…matched his career high of five assists three times, all as a junior in 2009–10…led the Wildcats to OAL and CIF Oakland Section Division I titles in 2011…played travel ball with the Bay Area Warriors.

Headspeth is majoring in kinesiology…career goal is to become an athletic trainer…his father, Anthony Headspeth, played college ball at Cal State Stanislaus.
