2012 – CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
Nikki Rodriguez became an integral part of the Otter attack as a sophomore, appearing in 40 games while making 34 starts at designated player…hit .309 with 13 runs and 14 RBIs…hit her first collegiate home run in a win over San Francisco State (Apr. 13)…career–high four RBIs in a win over Grand Canyon (Mar. 30)…had seven multi–hit games…hit .429 (6–for–14) over a season–best five–game hitting streak to open the 2012 season (Feb. 4–5).

2011 – CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
Rodriguez made three starts in her 15 freshman appearances…got a pinch hit single in her first collegiate at bat versus Midwestern State (Feb. 5)…scored her first collegiate run at San Francisco State (Mar. 11).

HIGH SCHOOL
Rodriguez was a four-year letterwinner at Evergreen Valley High School…lead her team to three consecutive CIF Central Coast Section Div. I playoff appearances…named team captain as a senior named whil leading the Cougars in batting average (.371) and on base pct. (.461)….also led the team in base hits, stolen bases, and runs scored… played the majority of her travel ball with the San Jose Lady Sharks….she had two "top 20" finishes at ASA Nationals with the Lady Sharks.

PERSONAL
Rodriguez is majoring in collaborative health and human services with a minor in social work…plans a career in law enforcement…also plans to coach travel ball after graduating from CSUMB…spent the past five summers working at Eden House as a recreation assistant with young children…parent are Yolanda and Joseph Rodriguez.
