SAN FRANCISCO – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team wrapped up its 2025 regular season with a decisive 2–0 road victory over San Francisco State on Thursday afternoon at Cox Stadium.
The Otters were efficient and composed throughout, scoring once in each half while recording their fifth shutout of the season.
Juliana Dow scored both goals for the Otters, each assisted by
Jaedyn Sanders. Dow opened the scoring in the 21st minute, capitalizing on a setup from Sanders to give Monterey Bay a 1–0 lead. The duo struck again just after halftime, with Dow doubling the advantage in the 47th minute on another feed from Sanders to make it 2–0.
Dow's brace brought her season total to four goals, while Sanders finished with her third and fourth assists of the season as the Otters ended 2025 on a strong note.
Goalkeeper
Olivia Wynn anchored the Otter defense with three saves — all coming in the second half — to preserve the clean sheet. Monterey Bay's back line, led by
Danielle Castro and
Jada Hardwick, limited the Gators to just three shots on goal and held firm against late pressure.
The Otters tallied 10 total shots, five on frame, while maintaining steady control of play in both halves.
With the win, CSUMB closed its season at 6–9–3 overall and 4–6–1 in CCAA competition.
