LOS ANGELES –
Kamryn Bubak scored a goal and handed out the eventual game-winning assist in the 2-1 victory for the Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team over Cal State LA Friday evening on the road at University Stadium.
Bubak was active early for the Otters as she scored her first goal of the season, finding the back of the net in the 19th minute on an assist from
Jadynn King.
Bubak was on the helping end in the waning moments of the first half when she found
Danielle Castro in the 44th minute for the eventual game-winner.
Despite only being credited with four shots on the match, the Otters were efficient as Bubak paced the squad with two tallies.
Olivia Wynn and
Willow Baltazar split the minutes in goal as Baltazar made a game-high five saves.
The Otters will continue their Southern California road trip with a match at Cal State Dominguez Hills. The two teams will meet on Sunday, Oct. 12, with kickoff scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
