TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay men's basketball team dropped an 89-72 decision to Cal State Stanislaus on Friday night at the Warrior Arena.

Sophomore #Davion Berry# sank a career-high 35 points after shooting 9-for-15 from the field an 15-for-17 at the charity stripe.  Sophomore #Brandon Ward# added nine points.

After trailing 42-27 at the break, the Otters cut the gap to 14 points three times at the beginning of the final half.

Berry scored 20 of his 35 points in the second half.

The Warriors had four players in double-digits with Reggie Jones leading the way with 26 points and 10 rebounds.

The game was evenly called on fouls with both teams picking up 25 apiece.

Highlight of the game was that the Otters found their rhythm at the free-throw line, making 27-of-36 for 75 percent.

The Otters travel to Chico State on Saturday, Jan. 22 for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off
