[VIEW GAME RESULTS]

(Chico, CA)  CSUMB women's soccer dropped their season opener at #17 Chico State by a score of 8-0.  Junior forward Loren Schofield led the Otters with 2 shots on goal. 

"It tough having your opening match against the top team in the conference," stated head coach Erin Roberts. "We played well in the first half and unfortunately fell apart in the second.  We were missing a key defender in Stacey Michelsen and we look forward to having her available to play in next weekend's matches"

The Otters continue this tough opening CCAA  road trip at Stanislaus on Sunday.
