CSUMB split their fifth straight doubleheader, beating Grand Canyon 5-3 before falling 3-2 in the last scheduled games at the Salinas Sports Complex.

In the first game, Ashlee Trotter hit her sixth homer of the season and 18th of her career to give CSUMB a lead they would not relinquish. After the Antelopes (21-23) scored three runs in the sixth to cut the lead to 5-3, Trotter got the last two outs in the 7th to end the game. In the second game however, Grand Canyon got a run in both the 5th and 6th innings to retake the lead and held CSUMB to only six hits, none in the last three innings.
