CSUMB won one and lost one in an evening doubleheader with Sonoma State. The Otters (20-37, 7-27 CCAA) won the first 2-1 before losing the second one under the lights 11-1.

In game 1, the Otters made Megan Russo's early home run and Kristin Rasmussen's score on an error hold up as Sonoma State stranded 10 batters. The second game however was all Seawolves as Sonoma State (27-28,13-17 CCAA) knocked out 12 hits to CSUMB's 3 and scored 6 runs in the final inning to put the game away. Jessica Wardle stole home for the only CSUMB run of the night. It was her 22nd of the year, to move within one of tying the standard of 23 set by Amy Layns last year.
