CSU Monterey Bay fell twice to No. 7 Humboldt State on Sunday afternoon, beginning with a 8-0 run-rule game and dropping the second game by a score of 6-0. The Otters are now 8-19, 3-13 CCAA while the Lumberjacks improve to 16-3, 7-1 league.

The Otters fell behind 6-0 in the first inning, including a grand slam by Humboldt's Chrissy Motzny. Motzny capped scoring with a two-run homer in the fourth inning. The Otters had six hits in the game, all singles, but struck out seven times and stranded seven runners.

The second game was more of the same as the Otters fell behind 3-0 in the first inning and were outhit 10-4 for the game. Jessica Wardle and Megan Russo both went 1-3 in each game.
