“Our first game versus Hilo was the best we played today. Our team took their competitiveness to an improved level and came out mindful of our scouting report, playing scrappy defense and staying in long rallies, " explained head coach
Jody Garry. "We fought hard point to point and ended up coming up just shy in game one. Unfortunately from that point on, fatigue set in and our physical performance dropped significantly although not for the lack of heart and effort. I am very proud overall of how this team competed and stayed together. I have an amazing group of women who truly enjoy the game.”
The Otters continue play in the Hawai'ian Style Classic tomorrow at 12pm vs. Hawai'i Pacific University and 6:30 vs. Chaminade University.
