CSU Monterey Bay ran its win streak to three with a pair of wins over patten University. The Otters came back to win the first game 17-8 and then stymied the Lions comeback attempt to win the second game 3-2. CSUMB improves to 15-32, 7-25 in the CCAA. Patten is now 20-20.

In the first game, the Otters scored the last nine runs to break open a close game. Budd Glock was a perfect 4-4 at plate with 5 RBI and 2 home runs. Daniel Gomez went 2-3 with 4 RBI in 101st start. In game 2, Jacob Roe has a 2-3 game with 2 doubles and Gerry Rommel has a RBI double to give CSUMB the hard fought win. Grayson Adams (3-5) pitches all seven innings and strikes out seven, including back-to-back to end game with the tying run on second. The Otters and Lions finish the series with a single game in Oakland at 1:00pm.
