CSU Monterey Bay won their first home game in nine tries in a big way, pounding out 16 hits in a 12-1 win over CCAA rival San Francisco State. The Otters improve to 8-19, 5-12 CCAA while the Gators go to 3-19, 2-11 in league.

CSUMB built a quick 3-0 lead as five of their first six batters hit safely. Brian Trump finished 3-5 on the day with 4 RBI, including a three-run home run in the 4th. Andrew Shive pitched a complete game, scattering eight hits while striking out three and walking none The teams play a doubleheader at San Francsico tomorrow at noon.
