[BOX SCORE GAME 1]
[BOX SCORE GAME 2]

CSUMB fell behind early and dropped a Sunday doubleheader to CSU Stanislaus 8-4 and 5-1. The Warriors improve to 7-10 overall and 4-8 in league play, while the Otters drop to 7-18 overall and 4-12 in the CCAA.

In the first game the warriors jumped out to a comfortable 8-0 lead to open the game, capped by a five run 7th inning. However the Otters came back but in the end fell short. The Warriors knocked three home runs off Otter pitching, including an inside the park home run in the 5th inning by Kevin McCarthy who was later ejected from the game for arguing with the umpire. In a losing effort Rocky Russo went 2-4 with an RBI double.

In the second game, the Warriors again jumped off to a quick lead and kept the Otters out of sync. CSUMB Relief pitcher Ray Nunez pitched three scoreless innings and had four strike outs. Having a big day for CSU Stanislaus was Adam Fonville, who went 2-4 with 3 RBI and McCarthy was a perfect 3-3 at the plate.
