The Otters fell to 0-3 CCAA, 3-8 overall as they were swept in a double header by Cal State San Bernardino.
In the first game, Brian Trump hit the first Otter home run of 2007 and also doubled and scored twice. However, it wasn't enough as the Otters gave up 16 hits in a 7-4 loss. Garrett Lyons went 3-4 with an RBI in the game.
In the second game, the Otters rallied to tie the game at 3-3 in the fifth inning only to see the Coyotes (7-3, 3-0 CCAA) erupt for six runs in the bottom of the inning for the final scoring in a 9-3 Coyote win. The inning was highlighted by a grand slam by Brad Croxton. Gerald Rommel went 2-3 with an RBI and Brian Trump had a two run homer.
