The Otters (3-5) finished a game delayed by darkness with flair and prevailed 6-5, their third straight win over St. Martin's. However, they could not get the sweep as they had only 4 hits in the series finale and lost 5-1.
Budd Glock had an RBI single in the ninth to score the eventual winning run. Norman Hebert pitched 2 innings and got his second consecutive win of the series.
The Otters luck ran out of steam in the series finale, as the Saints got their first win of the year by outhitting the Otters 11-4. Gerald Rommel went 2-3 and drove in the Otters only run in the fifth inning to cut the defecit to 3 runs, but the Otters couldn't rally. CSUMB begins CCAA play next weekend with four games at CSU San Bernardino.
