SAN LUIS OBISPO --- Cal State Monterey Bay's #Dana Andrews#, playing in her hometown of San Luis Obispo, led all scorers with 22 points as the Otters fell to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 88-57 Saturday afternoon at Mott Gym.
Andrews' game high 22 point effort included 4-9 shooting from three point range and 6-8 at the free throw line in 22 minutes of play against the Mustangs. Andrews was a 2006-2007 California Collegiate Athletic Association second team selection as she led the Otters with a 11.8 points per game scoring average a year ago.
The Otters' #Britnea Moore# added 15 points on 6-8 shooting from the field in the final exhibition game of the season and second straight against a NCAA Division I opponent for CSUMB.
Cal Poly SLO is a member of the NCAA Division I Big West conference and was picked to finish 3rd in the Big West's preseason poll this fall.
CSUMB opens the 2007-08 regular season in southern California with games Friday, Nov. 16th at Hope International and Saturday, Nov. 17th at Cal Baptist.
