RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- For a second straight game, Cal State Monterey Bay's second half rally fell short in a 83-78 loss at Cal Baptist University Saturday afternoon at the Van Dyne Gym.

CSUMB was led by #Dana Andrews#' 19 points while #Sabrina Jenkins# added 14 points and #Britnea Moore# had 11.  #Ja Nae Westmoreland# just missed a double-double with 9 points and 9 rebounds.

A free throw by Andrews' pulled CSUMB to within 78-76 late in the game, but the Otters were held without a field goal in the final 3:49 of regulation by the host CBU Lancers.  CBU was led by NAIA All American Nicole Davis's 32 points.

CSUMB returns to action in two weeks for the opening weekend of California Collegiate Athletic Association play.  The Otters will play at Cal State San Bernardino Friday, Nov. 30th followed by a Saturday, Dec. 1st match up at Cal Poly Pomona.  Tip-off both nights is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
