[VIEW GAME RESULTS]

FULLERTON, Calif. --- Junior #Dana Andrews# scored 28 points, including a 7 of 12 performance from 3-point range, in Cal State Monterey Bay's regular season opening loss to Hope International Friday night at the Darling Pavilion in Fullerton.

The Otters outscored the Royals 45-39 in the second half but their 18 point halftime deficit proved too much to overcome.  CSUMB falls to 0-1 and Hope improves to 4-1 for the season.

In addition to Andrews' scoring efforts, CSUMB was led by #Krista Herr#'s 12 points and team high 6 rebounds.  #Britnea Moore# added 11 points and #Alma Lopez# posted 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists on the night.

The Otters are back in action tomorrow afternoon as they play at Cal Baptist University.
