LACEY, Wash.---Cal State Monterey Bay posted a 3-2 victory over Saint Martin's in non-conference action Monday afternoon at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey, WA.

The scoring started quickly as the Otters and Saints traded goals within the first four minutes of the match before finishing out the half with the score tied 1-1.

#Loren Schofield# posted the early goal for CSUMB and #Cassidy Bennett# regained the lead for the Otters in the 55th minute of action.  #Kyla Flores# scored the game winner off an assist from #Courtney Hermann# at the 68:56 mark in the match as the Saints got their second and final goal on the board in the 80th minute to close out the scoring for the match.

Goalkeepers #Stacey Senkle# and #Jenya Jawad# combined for six saves for CSUMB.

Saint Martin's is a member of the NCAA Division II Great Northwest Athletic Conference that includes Alaska Anchorage, Alaska Fairbanks, Central Washington, Montana State-Billings, Northwest Nazarene, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific, Western Oregon and Western Washington.

The Otters return to Seaside for Homecoming Week matches against CCAA opponents Cal State San Bernardino on Friday, Oct. 12th and Cal Poly Pomona on Sunday, Oct. 14th.  The CSUMB Homecoming Tailgate BBQ precedes the women's soccer match Friday at the Soccer Complex and will begin one hour prior to the 12:30 kickoff.
