LACEY, Wash. --- Cal State Monterey Bay shutout Saint Martin's 3-0 in non-conference action Monday afternoon at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey, WA.

The Otters improve to 4-5-2 on the season while the Saints drop to 2-12.

CSUMB'S #Andy Breault# scored on a cross from #Nate Toricelli# with a minute left on the clock to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.  The Otters pushed to the score to 2-0 in the 52nd minute when Ben Devoll scored on Toricelli's second assist of the match. #Andrew Burkhammer# made it 3-0 with a shot into the upper right hand corner of the net to close out the scoring for the Otters.

CSUMB outshot the Saints 23-4 on the match while #Brenden Baca# and #Matt Lege# each recorded 2 saves to combine for the shut out victory.

Saint Martin's is a member of the NCAA Division II Great Northwest Athletic Conference that includes Alaska Anchorage, Alaska Fairbanks, Central Washington, Montana State-Billings, Northwest Nazarene, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific, Western Oregon and Western Washington.

The Otters return for a Homecoming Week home stand against CCAA opponents Cal State San Bernardino on Friday, Oct. 12th and Cal Poly Pomona on Sunday, Oct. 14th.  Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 pm both days.
