ROHNERT PARK, Calif. ---  Cal State Monterey Bay lost a 5 game heartbreaker (30-26, 30-27, 25-30, 18-30, 17-19) to Sonoma State Wednesday night at the Seawolf Gym.  CSUMB falls to 9-16 (6-7, CCAA) while the Seawolves improve to 10-12 (6-7, CCAA).

The Otters took a 2-0 lead into intermission behind strong serving and a balanced offensive attack that kept SSU off balance through the much of the night.  The Seawolves rebounded to take games 3 and 4 to even the match, setting up the deciding game 5.
