SANTA ROSA, Calif. --- The CSUMB women's golf team carded the low team score of the final round to finish in second place at the Sonoma State Invitational being held at the Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club on Tuesday.
The Otters improved on their first round score by 7 strokes in carding the final round low of 322, placing them in second place behind tournament champion Western Washington. Chico State (3rd), Hawaii-Hilo (4th) and Notre Dame de Namur (5th) rounded out the top five teams.
In medalist play, #Cicilia Chudivan# turned in another strong performance. Chudivan shot a 5-over 77 in the final round and settled for second place. Her two day total of 9-over 153 was only one stroke off first place finisher Lianne Matkin of WWU. CSUMB's next top finisher was #Jessica Yee#, who carded a final round 6-over 78 to finish tied for fourth overall.
