SEASIDE, Calif. --- The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team completed a CSUMB Homecoming Weekend sweep with a 2-1 win over visiting Cal Poly Pomona Sunday afternoon at the CSUMB soccer field.

Today's win over CPP along with their 4-3 victory over over Cal State San Bernardino on Friday gives the Otters a critical 6 point weekend to stay in the hunt for post season play.  The Otters improve to 6-5-2 (4-4-2, CCAA) and the Broncos fall to 5-6-2 (5-4-2, CCAA).

#Nate Torricelli# put the Otters on the board early with an unassisted breakaway goal at the 12:25 mark.  The 1-0 lead didn't last long as the Broncos evened the score when Marc Glowgowsky scored three minutes later.

The halftime score of 1-1 held up until the 61st minute of play when #Kyle Satow# recorded the game winning goal via a #Andy Breault# corner kick and redirect by #Ben DeVoll#. 

#Brenden Baca# posted 5 saves and the Otters finished with a slight 6 to 5 edge in shots on goal over the Broncos .

CSUMB hosts Hawaii-Pacific tomorrow afternoon in non conference action.  Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
