SEASIDE, Calif. --- Cal State Monterey Bay was defeated by #2 ranked Cal State San Bernardino by scores of 27-30, 16-30, 24-30 on Saturday afternoon at the Otter Sports Center gymnasium.  The Otters fall to 8-15 on the season (5-6, CCAA) while CSUSB improves their CCAA leading record to 19-1 (11-0, CCAA).

#Courtney Taubert# posted 13 kills for the Otters.  #Brittany Etchings# and #Melissa Nickas# each had 13 digs.

CSUSB's Ashtin Hall recorded 11 kills at a .409 clip to lead a balanced attack for the Coyotes.  Sharea Drawn added 9 kills while Jessica Granados and Lindsey Olhausen each recorded 7.

CSUMB returns to the road with a CCAA match at Cal State Dominguez Hills next Friday, October 19th.  First serve is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
