SEASIDE, Calif. --- Cal State Monterey Bay lost to Cal State San Bernardino by a score of 4-1 on Friday afternoon at the CSUMB Soccer Field. The Otters fall to 3-7-2 (1-7-1, CCAA) on the season, while the Coyotes improve to 7-6-2 (3-6-1, CCAA).

The Coyotes of CSUSB were opportunistic in scoring twice within a minute (13:35, 14:03) to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.  CSUMB's #Loren Schofield# scored in the 60th minute off an assist from #Kyla Flores# to bring the Otters within reach of CSUSB.  The Coyotes answered three minutes (62:33) later to push the lead to 3-1 and added their final goal in the 69th minute to account for the final margin of victory.

CSUMB did create multiple scoring opportunities on a soggy afternoon in Seaside as the Otters finished with seven total shots on goal to six for the CSUSB.  #Courtney Hermann# recorded two shots on goal for CSUMB.

The Otters will be back in action this Sunday against the Broncos of Cal Poly Pomona.  Kickoff is schedule for 3:00 pm.
