SEASIDE, Calif. – Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team is pairing up with the Salvation Army in the Monterey Peninsula area for the month of September. The Otters are giving a helping hand by serving food to the less fortunate.
“It has been a great opportunity to give back to the community in a way that we all, at times, take for granted,” said head coach #Renee Jimenez#. “Our jobs as coaches are not only to make them good athletes but good people who care about surroundings and want to make a difference. The girls have been humbled by this experience and we will continue to volunteer our time in the community.”
