SEASIDE, Calif. - While recognizing its obligations and commitments to its mission, the NCAA's Division II philosophies, its California Collegiate Athletic Association requirements, as well as its participation in competitions outside the CCAA, members of the California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB) Athletic Department's management team initiated the formal development of this Strategic Plan during the latter part of the Spring 2010 semester. The process was initiated based on previously assimilated input from staff, internal and external to the Athletic Department, as well as from members of the external community.
