NGCA All-American Scholar Team
SEASIDE, Calif. – Cal State Monterey Bay women's golfers senior #Cicilia Chudivan# and sophomore #Courtney Soekland# have been named to the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) Division II All-American Scholar Team announced this week by the association's office.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics, the minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and student-athletes must have competed in at least 66% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year. A total of 494 golfers were honored from the three divisions of the NCAA with this prestigious honor.
The Otters finished seventh place in their first appearance at the NCAA Division II National Championship this past spring.
