SEASIDE, Calif.
– Head women's basketball coach #Renee Jimenez# has announced the signing of 5'11 guard Brandi Stephens from Sierra College.

“Brandi comes from a great tradition of winning from Sierra College under coach Brandi Murrish. A first-class person and great student, Brandi will fit perfectly in the blue and gold jersey next season,” Jimenez said. “She has a knack for getting to the basket and is the type of player that wants the ball in her hands late in the game. With her length, speed and high basketball IQ she will be able to compete in the CCAA right away.”

The Sacramento native was a two-time member of the All-State and All-Conference teams while at Sierra College. In her sophomore year, Stephens was ranked fifth in the state in scoring, averaging 14.6 points a game.
