SEASIDE, Calif. - Cal State Monterey Bay's men's basketball team will make its national TV debut on Saturday, Feb. 6 when its game at Humboldt State University is televised on the CBS College Sports Network. Game time is 2:30 p.m.
The Otters take a 5-8 California Collegiate Athletic Association record (7-11 overall) into tonight's game at Sonoma State in Rohnert Park, then head for Arcata for the game against Humboldt on Saturday.
A 30-second commercial about CSUMB will air near the end of the first half. At halftime, the university's Director of Athletics #Vince Otoupal# will be interviewed. Head Coach #Rob Bishop# will have a short interview prior to the start of the second half.
Saturday's game was selected by the NCAA Division II Presidents Council and the Media Advisory Group as the Division II TV "game of the week."
The game will also be streamed live at www.NCAA.com.
The CBS College Sports Network can be found on Channel 31 on the CSUMB campus cable system, Comcast Channel 418, Dish Channel 152, and DirectTV Channel 613.
