Final Results

BELLINGHAM, Wash.
– The No. 20 Cal State Monterey Bay women’s golf team finished fourth in the 15th Annual Western Washington University Invitational Tournament today at the Bellingham Golf & Country Club with a 36-hole score of 647.

The Otters finished behind tournament winner University of British Columbia’s +54 (318-312-630), second place Western Washington University’s  +62 (325-313-638) and third place Sonoma State’s +68 (310-334-664).

Junior Cicilia Chudivan, last week’s Lady Otter Invitational medalist, finished with a 12-over par 156 (79-77) to capture fifth place.

Also playing well for CSUMB was senior Belinda Diamond and sophomore Darcy Lake who finished the 6,196-yard, par-72 course tied for eight place with a 14-over par 158 (82-76).

Freshman Courtney Soekland tied for 39th, posting a 32-over par 176 (86-90).

Sonoma State’s Brittany Carrera took medalist honors at 8-over par 152 (73-79).

The Otters wrap-up the fall season next week, playing in the Sonoma State Invitational at the Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club.
